Get a load of this news from Fantasyland: Frozen is Highest-Grossing Animated Film in History!

Have you see Frozen yet? No? Well, it’s now available on DVD, so if you weren’t able to watch it on the big screen, now you can get to watch it on Blu-Ray. No excuses, just do it.

Alright, we can’t 100% guarantee that you’re going to love it, but if you don’t have children (that’s the only reason we could think of why you haven’t seen it yet) might as well watch it with your nieces, nephews, cousins, what-have-you. You’re bound to enjoy it more if you do.

Why? Because Frozen is now the highest grossing animated film in history, that’s why! Can you imagine that it was able to beat the likes of Despicable Me 2 ($970 million), Finding Nemo ($936 million), The Lion King ($987 million), and of course, Toy Story 3 ($1.063 billion)? Oh yes, laddies and ladies. It just soared up to $1.072 billion right after it opened in Japan.

We can’t blame the Japanese. With all those Frozen covers that went viral on Youtube and Facebook, they have probably memorized all the songs and the lines even before they got to watch it. And can you imagine all those crazy cute kids going gaga over the Queen Elsa look? I have! Even the little boys in our neighborhood loved it!

Which just shows how great this animated movie is. In fact, I have a confession to make. My favorite song in the Frozen soundtrack is not Let it go… It’s ‘Love is an open door.’

Please don’t judge me. I just find it so catchy. And it doesn’t hurt to know that Prince Hans may be the only villain in Disney history to have a really good love song duet with one of the protagonists. So there.

So, yes. If you haven’t watched it yet, please do. And if you find yourself singing along with the songs, please don’t blame us. We did tell you it’s catchy.
